Hampton Court Palace Golf Club Wedding Photographer | Lucy + Chris
It was great to photograph the wedding of Lucy and Chris on a pleasant autumn day in Kingston Upon Thames. My morning began at The White Hart Hotel, where Lucy was getting ready with her bridesmaids and mum. They were fun, happy and welcoming from the second I arrived, setting the tone for the day.
I then made the short journey to Hampton Court Golf Club for a lovely ceremony, where Lucy was walked down the aisle, wearing a beautiful Catherine Deane dress by her brother Jack. Following the traditional confetti exit, Lucy and Chris were congratulated by their guests as they came down the stairs for the afternoon drinks reception.
We then went off for a few moments near the picturesque long water in front of Hampton Court Palace within the grounds of the stunning Bushy Park for very relaxed photos of the happy couple.
We returned for the drinks reception and wrapped up all the group photos just in time before a rain shower made everyone move inside.
It was then time for the meals and speeches, with Lucy’s brother Jack giving the first of three speeches. By the time Chris and best man Scott had delivered their speeches, it was almost time for the evening party to kick off, and there was a buzz in the room as if people were ready for a party.
And party they did - following the first dance, guests piled onto the dancefloor, and it never let up. The band played an excellent range of songs that kept the dancefloor moving. I had to put my second camera away and go with just one and a wide lens as it was so crowded. Here are some of the photos I captured for Lucy and Chris.
