Natural wedding photography that tells your story.

My approach to capturing your wedding is relaxed and hands-off. I don’t direct or stage moments because your wedding isn’t a photoshoot, it’s one of the best days of your life, surrounded by your loved ones and I want you to enjoy every single moment without worrying about posing or setting up photos.

Instead, I focus on observing and capturing the real, spontaneous moments as they happen. When you look back at your photos, you'll remember the genuine emotions of the day and how it felt, not how you were told to pose.

I keep things simple with minimal gear, allowing me to move around easily and not dragging around big bags. For couple’s portraits, we can find 10 to 15 minutes during the day to capture a few quiet moments together, I won’t keep you away from your guests for hours. I won’t obsess about posing you, instead think of it as an opportunity to go for a walk and have a few moments together and I’ll capture you interacting naturally. And when it comes to family and friend group photos, we can plan ahead and make it as quick and easy as possible.

Group of people at a wedding reception, three women and one man, sitting at a decorated table. Two women stand, holding microphones and smiling, one woman holds papers. A man and a woman sit at the table, smiling; the man holds an umbrella over his head. The table has flowers, candles, and wine bottles. In the background, a DJ setup and a white curtain with lights are visible.

Fun

Weddings should feel like a celebration and I love capturing the energy of your day. The big belly laughs, some questionable dance moves and the random moments you could never predict that all help make the day unforgettable.

A man and woman sitting close together on a bench, smiling and leaning their foreheads together, against a rustic wooden wall with hanging greenery. The man is wearing a tartan suit with a light-colored tie and boutonniere. The woman is in a beige dress, holding a piece of paper. There are glasses of water, a black bag, and a hat on the bench.

Candid

There’s nothing wrong with posed photos, but for me, the real magic of photography is in the unplanned moments. I focus on capturing genuine, unscripted, fleeting moments that hold real memories and take you back when you see them again

Emotional

Weddings are packed with every emotion, which makes them a joy to photograph. The people you share your day with are important too, and in 20 years, these photos will hold even more weight, bringing back the memories and feelings all over again.

Joyful

Your wedding will be filled with unfiltered happiness and your photos should reflect this. No need for forced smiles, just real genuine joy as you celebrate one of the happiest days of your life.

People sitting on a bus, with one man yawning and covering his mouth, while others appear to be resting or talking.

Real

Forget trends and picture-perfect moments, it isn’t about curating a wedding for social media. Do what feels right, be yourselves, and enjoy it your way. There are no rules, and your photos will be better for it.

Two women are on beds, one sitting upright and the other lying down, both in orange attire. The fourth woman is standing near a round table with various items, and another woman is seated on a chair. The room has decorations, a TV on the wall, and personal items on tables.

Storytelling

I love capturing the story of your unique day. For me, the little in-between moments are as important as the big ones. When you look back on your gallery I want you to feel like you’re taken back to the day again.

What about portraits and group photos?

While I work most of the day in a documentary way, I do also capture relaxed couples photos and group photos if you want them.

My approach to couples photos is not far removed from how I work the rest of the day. I encourage you to go for a walk and enjoy some time away together for a few minutes. You don’t need to perform for the camera, just be yourselves, it’s about whatever feels natural to you.

I also understand the value of photos with your loved ones too. I will work with you so this can all be done as quickly as possible and not take up too much precious time on your day. I’m sure you’d much rather be having fun with your guests than standing around. Below is a gallery of some recent portraits and group photos.
